Above all, The Swapper is about learning and understanding the increasingly complex financial world.

But also about questioning the actions of market participants, governments and regulators as we explore new and almost unknown sides of our economic system – from dark pools to black boxes and black holes – and perhaps discover some answers to how we’ll best manage in the future.

Welcome to the future of finance!

.

I Salute You!

This blog is dedicated to new economic ideas and thoughts about how we can change the worlds financial system to the benefit of all countries in the world – rich and poor.

We need to make our economics work to preserve our ecosystem, rather than ruining it. and make it possible for underdeveloped countries to participate on equal terms in the global markets.

The worst crisis since The Great Depression is a three-part crisis:

Our monetary system is on the edge of breaking down,  the same goes for the way we manage our fundamental ecosystems,  in addition the  social(poverty) crisis is getting increasingly intense, causing riots and dangerous social unrest all around the globe.

These three factors interfere with each other, feed on each other, amplifies each other – it’s impossible to permanently solve one crisis without solving the  two others.

It will not be an easy task.

Some radical solutions are necessary; some old outdated theories has to be turned, twisted or rejected,  new ways of looking at the market must be explored and a new definition of progress must be invented.

Econotwist is the nickname of ************** who’s been a financial reporter since 1986. He’s now an independent writer, blogger, commentator and producer.

Mr.Haukenes is dedicated to explore the ways the financial markets, corporations, governments and regulators can contribute to make the ongoing historic economic event a successful turning-point in the history of mankind.
